This article aims to analyze the integration of the criminal justice system by highlighting the challenges in law enforcement in Indonesia. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method using a literature review approach based on three core references: criminal law, criminal justice system, and law enforcement in Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted through content analysis of both normative substance and empirical practices discussed in the literature. The findings reveal that although the criminal justice system has been structurally designed encompassing investigative bodies, public prosecutors, courts, and correctional institutions its implementation is often hampered by overlapping authorities, weak inter-agency coordination, and external influences such as corruption and political interference. Moreover, new challenges in the digital era remain unaddressed systematically by law enforcement institutions. Institutional reform and integrity enhancement are proposed as key recommendations.
