The formation of noble character in elementary school students does not only depend on the teaching materials, but also on the role of exemplary behavior and habitual practices instilled in daily activities. The classroom teacher, as the figure closest to the students, holds a strategic position in instilling moral values through direct interaction and routine school activities. This study aims to examine the role of classroom teachers in instilling moral character and to identify the forms of habituation activities that contribute to the character development of fourth-grade students at SD IT Bunayya Pekanbaru. This research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that classroom teachers play the role of educators, mentors, role models, and motivators in shaping students’ character. The habituation activities implemented include reciting prayers before and after lessons, greeting, performing dhuha prayers, congregational dzuhur prayers, maintaining cleanliness through class duties, and Islamic literacy activities. These activities foster discipline, responsibility, politeness, and social care among students. However, the study also found that some students were not yet consistent in their moral behavior, thus highlighting the need for greater teacher involvement and collaboration with parents to strengthen the process of character building.
