This study aims to describe the application of the brainstorming learning method in improving student learning outcomes in Natural Sciences (IPA) for fourth grade students at SDN 182 Pekanbaru. The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research subjects are 30 fourth grade students. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the application of the brainstorming method was able to increase student activity, enrich ideas in the discussion process, and have implications for improving learning outcomes. Thus, the brainstorming method can be used as an alternative effective learning strategy in science learning in elementary schools.
