Indonesian has an important role as a national communication tool that unites people from various cultural backgrounds and regional languages. In everyday life, the proper and correct use of Indonesian is often not implemented optimally, especially in oral and written communication in educational environments, social media and the general public. This research aims to examine the importance of using Indonesian properly and correctly in the communication process as well as the factors that influence its use among students.
