Humanistic classroom management is an important approach in elementary education for addressing various student issues, both academic and social. This approach views students as individuals with unique potential, needs, and characteristics, ensuring that the learning process is comfortable, safe, and respectful of human values. This study aims to describe the implementation of humanistic classroom management in addressing issues faced by elementary school students. The research method used is a literature review with a qualitative approach through the analysis of various journals and literature related to humanistic education, classroom management, and character education. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of humanistic classroom management can be achieved through empathetic communication between teachers and students, the provision of positive motivation, student-centered learning, and character building through habits and school culture. The humanistic approach can help reduce conflicts among students, improve discipline, and build students’ self-confidence and sense of responsibility. Additionally, humanistic classroom management also supports the creation of a conducive and enjoyable learning environment. This study recommends that elementary school teachers enhance their pedagogical and social competencies in consistently applying the humanistic approach within the school environment.
