Education is a basic right of every child and plays a vital role in improving the quality of human resources. However, in reality, many children still drop out of school due to various complex social issues. This study aims to analyze the factors causing children to drop out of school in Arjangka Village, Central Lombok Regency. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that factors causing children to drop out of school are not only influenced by the family's economic conditions, but also by parent’s divorce, bullying, the social environment, low educational support from the family, and the practice of early marriage. Furthermore, a lack of communication and synergy between families, schools, and the government also increases the risk of children leaving formal education. These conditions demonstrate that the issue of children dropping out of school is a multidimensional social problem that requires comprehensive treatment.
