This study aims to analyze the role of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah (ZIS) in promoting social justice and supporting economic distribution in Islam. The study employs a qualitative research method using a literature review approach, drawing data from scholarly journals and official documents, including the 2025 National Zakat Management Report. The findings indicate that ZIS functions as an instrument for wealth distribution and redistribution, capable of reducing economic inequality, improving the welfare of beneficiaries (mustahik), and supporting community economic empowerment. Furthermore, professional, transparent, and empowerment-oriented ZIS management can enhance its effectiveness as a social security system and a driver of equitable economic growth. Therefore, optimizing ZIS management through institutional strengthening and the utilization of digital technology is an important step toward achieving sustainable social welfare.
