The era of digitalization has fundamentally transformed the paradigm of public service delivery. Governments worldwide, including Indonesia, are racing to adopt digital technologies to improve efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of services to citizens. However, the implementation of digital public service strategies faces complex challenges, including the digital divide, bureaucratic resistance, low digital literacy, and infrastructure barriers in remote areas. This article aims to review strategies for improving public services in the digital era through an analysis of 20 reputable academic articles (Scopus and Sinta) published during 2020–2026. This research employs a literature review approach. The results identify five main strategy clusters: (1) digital infrastructure and technology transformation; (2) human resource capacity building and digital literacy; (3) governance innovation and system interoperability; (4) strengthening public trust through data security and transparency; and (5) digital inclusivity strategies in public services. These findings contribute to the development of a comprehensive strategic framework for improving public services in the digital era, particularly in the context of developing countries such as Indonesia.
