The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has brought significant changes to education, including Islamic education. This study aims to analyze the harmonization between AI technology and religious values in Islamic education in the digital era. A qualitative approach with a library research method was employed, using scientific journals, books, and relevant academic articles as data sources, analyzed through descriptive and content analysis techniques. The findings reveal that AI has positive impacts on learning, including easier access to information, improved learning effectiveness, and the development of interactive digital media. However, AI also generates negative impacts such as technological dependency, reduced critical thinking skills, plagiarism risks, and content that conflicts with Islamic values. From an Islamic perspective, technology is permissible as long as it provides benefits and does not contradict moral values. The harmonization of AI with religious values can be achieved through character education, digital literacy, ethical use of technology, and the active role of teachers as moral guides. This study concludes that the integration of AI in Islamic education must be grounded in the principles of honesty, trustworthiness, and responsibility so that technology can be used wisely without eroding students’ spiritual and moral values.
