This study examines the role of Management Information Systems (MIS) in supporting decision-making and organizational performance in the digital era using a literature review approach. The results show that MIS, consisting of hardware, software, brainware, data, and procedures, provides accurate and timely information for management. The integration of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, and Cloud Computing enhances real-time data processing and decision-making effectiveness. In conclusion, MIS serves as both an operational and strategic tool that improves efficiency and organizational competitiveness, although its success depends on system integration, data security, and human resource quality.
