Abstrak

This study aims to evaluate the success of the Management Information System (SIM) on the e-mas feature in the BYOND by BSI application using the updated DeLone & McLean model. In the midst of the rapid digitalization of national banking, BSI is transforming through the digital gold investment feature which recorded significant customer growth of 417% (YoY) to reach more than 530 thousand users by 2025. This qualitative research uses documentation study techniques and secondary observations of official performance reports, Bank Indonesia transaction data, and reputable international literature to identify the main indicators of system success. The results of the analysis show that the synergy between system quality, information quality, and service quality has a significant positive impact. The reliable quality of the system is reflected in the stability of large-scale transactions, although optimization on application loading speed is still required. The quality of accurate and real-time information is proven to meet customer expectations while mitigating the risk of gharar (uncertainty) in accordance with sharia principles. Furthermore, the quality of service that integrates spiritual values and ease of access creates a unique user experience. Perceived security, supported by ISO 27001 certification and an "A" rating from the SecurityScorecard, is a key predictor in building customer trust and lowering risk perception. This trust significantly encourages the intention of continuous use (continuance intention) and net benefits in the form of democratization of gold investment for customers and increased fee-based income for organizations. As a managerial implication, this study emphasizes the importance of periodic audits and synchronization between digital data and physical gold stocks in safes to ensure comprehensive legal and sharia accountability.
