This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the Direct Practice Learning (DPL) model on student learning outcomes. The method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design (pretest-posttest control group design) on 80 grade XI MPLB students at SMK Negeri 1 Rejotangan in the subject of Office Technology. The sample was divided into an experimental class that used the DPL model and a control class that used conventional learning. Data collection was carried out through tests and observations, then analyzed using statistical tests such as the t-test, Wilcoxon test, and Mann-Whitney test. The results of the study indicate that the DPL model has a significant and more effective impact on improving learning outcomes compared to the conventional model, with an average N-Gain of 54.2% (moderate category), while the control class only achieved 41.1% (less effective). The conclusion of the research reinforces that the application of the DPL model is an effective approach to improve the competence and learning outcomes of vocational high school students.
