This study aims to determine the effect of the Merdeka Curriculum policy on students’ learning outcomes. The Merdeka Curriculum is an educational policy designed to provide flexibility in the learning process and improve students’ abilities according to their interests and talents. This study used a quantitative method by collecting data from the Education Office and several schools as research data sources. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and students’ learning outcomes. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum has a positive effect on students’ learning outcomes. Students become more active, creative, and have better learning motivation than before. In addition, teachers have greater flexibility in choosing learning methods that suit students’ needs. However, there are still several obstacles in its implementation, such as limited facilities and teachers’ understanding of the new curriculum. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Merdeka Curriculum policy can improve the quality of students’ learning outcomes if supported by school readiness, teachers, and adequate learning facilities.
