The development of digital financial technology has encouraged the use of cashless payment systems in the informal sector, including traditional markets. This study aims to analyze the role of digital financial literacy in supporting the use of QRIS and its implications for the profitability and sustainability of traditional market traders in Surabaya. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation and documentation. The results show that QRIS utilization by traders is still suboptimal due to its influence on their level of understanding, digital skills, and readiness to use digital financial technology. Furthermore, transaction security and limited technological capabilities, especially among older traders, remain obstacles to the digitalization process. Digital financial literacy plays a role in supporting transaction efficiency, business financial management, and minimizing the risk of transaction errors. Therefore, improving digital financial literacy is a crucial factor in supporting the profitability and sustainability of traditional market traders in the digital economy era.
