Selection of students who receive scholarships is not an easy process because the assessment must be based on several criteria determined by the school. The selection process often faces problems because the assessment only focuses on student achievement without considering the economic condition of the family and other supporting factors. Therefore, a Decision Support System (DSS) is needed to assist the scholarship selection process objectively. This research applies the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in determining scholarship recipients. The SAW method was selected because it can solve multi-criteria decision problems by normalizing alternative values and calculating criteria weights to produce a final ranking result. This research aims to develop a Decision Support System that can determine eligible scholarship recipients based on several assessment criteria using the SAW method.
