This study aims to comprehensively analyze the implementation of Educator and Education Personnel Standards in the Indonesian national education system, identify challenges faced in their implementation, and provide strategic recommendations for optimizing the achievement of these standards. The study uses a literature review approach with a descriptive-qualitative analysis method. The implementation of teacher competency standards shows significant progress with an increase in teacher academic qualifications reaching more than 95% at the national level. The teacher certification program has a positive impact on teaching motivation and teacher welfare. Optimizing implementation requires a comprehensive strategy including accurate mapping of teacher needs, an effective placement system, developing incentives for teachers in remote areas, and strengthening the coaching system through mentoring programs and utilizing information technology to expand access to ongoing professional development programs
